Big changes are coming!! Hopefully…..

Hello all my fibre friends! I am going through some pretty major life changes right now and due to these changes, I have to sell my online Blue Moon Studio fibre business. I won’t have the space or the time needed to keep it running successfully. In the three years I have been up and running, my sales and client base have steadily risen and have the ability to to grow rapidly if adequate time and focus are allocated. The business comes with a full inventory plus extras so no need to purchase anything for the next while. The price includes all equipment and supplies needed to keep the business running, as well I will train in how I dye fibre, use the equipment and how to run the website.  I will help the transfer of the business in a…

Obsessed With Spinning Scrappy Yarns!

Right now I am truly obsessed with spinning scrappy yarns! Years ago I found a garbage bag of wool and mohair yarn scraps at a second hand store. I have no idea what they were for but the colours and textures were amazing so I took it home, thinking I would one day find a use for this good stuff!! I have seen people on Instagram spinning these totally cool yarns made with scraps of yarn and I love them and became obsessed with how to make them. I remembered my garbage bag of yarn scraps and went to it like a mad woman. The excitement! Finally a use for my beautiful yarn scraps!! I had a couple nice but uninspiring batts kicking around so I stripped them down, added a bit to my drum carder and started to lay…
